More about the less fortunate

Today in Social Studies, I learned that barely any of America's money goes to charities. There is a godd news and a bad news to that. The bad news is that only .41%of the money goes to the charities, and the good news is that it can't really get much worse. What we can do is make petitions, asking for more money to go to the charities and the less fortunate. We can also, like I said about 5 times already, is donate some of our money that is sitting in those jelly jars and that are said "will be spent later on". Even if it only a couple of bucks, it still helps others in need. Think if you didn't own a house or had some serious disease, wouldn't you want to be thought of andhelped? So next time you see a donation thing going on, think about that.

Hi Emmett,

Wow, what an inspiration! Mrs. Casey sent me the link to your blogs and I am so impressed by all of your efforts. I miss living in Colorado and being a part of Manitou family. Keep up the hard work and have a happy holiday!
